Terms of Use

01. Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Eduro Fee mobile application (the “App”), provided by Eduro Global (“Eduro Global”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account, or by using the App in any way, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

If you are using the App on behalf of a school or educational institution (“Institution”), you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms on that Institution's behalf.

02. What Eduro Fee is

Eduro Fee helps Institutions record student fee information — amounts due, amounts received, and receipts — and communicate that information to parents and guardians. Access to the App is typically arranged between Eduro Global and an Institution under a separate subscription or licence agreement; these Terms govern use of the App itself and do not, on their own, create any payment obligation between a Parent/Guardian User and Eduro Global.

03. Accounts & eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an Eduro Fee account.
  • There are two categories of account: Institution Users (school staff authorised to manage fee records) and Parent/Guardian Users (parents or guardians viewing fee details for their child).
  • Students do not hold independent accounts; their records are maintained by Institution Users, or entered by a parent/guardian, as part of administering school fees.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials confidential. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

04. Institution responsibilities

If you use the App as an Institution User, you are responsible for:

  • the accuracy and lawfulness of the Student and Parent/Guardian data you enter into the App;
  • obtaining any consent required under applicable education or data protection law (including the DPDP Act) before entering that data;
  • ensuring only staff with a genuine need have access to the App, and that access is revoked when staff leave or change roles; and
  • reconciling fee amounts recorded in the App against the Institution's own accounting records, since the App reflects what the Institution enters rather than independently verifying payments.

05. Parent/guardian responsibilities

  • Use the App only to view and manage information relating to your own child(ren) enrolled at a participating Institution.
  • Provide accurate contact details so you can receive fee-related communications.
  • Direct questions about fee amounts, due dates, or receipts to the Student's Institution, which maintains those records.

06. Fees & payments

No online payment today. Eduro Fee currently does not process fee payments. Amounts shown in the App are informational, reflecting what the Institution has recorded. Any actual payment must be made through the Institution's existing channels outside the App (for example, in person, by cheque, or by bank transfer).

We may introduce online payment within the App in the future, through a licensed third-party payment gateway or aggregator. If we do, that feature will be subject to updated Terms, the payment provider's own terms and conditions, and any applicable fees will be disclosed before you pay.

07. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • access or attempt to access accounts, Student records, or fee data you are not authorised to view;
  • upload false, misleading, or unlawful information;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where applicable law permits it;
  • scrape, harvest, or bulk-export data from the App other than through features we provide for that purpose;
  • interfere with or disrupt the App's operation, security, or servers; or
  • impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with an Institution.

08. Intellectual property

The App, including its software, design, branding, and content (excluding data you or an Institution submit), is owned by Eduro Global or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms. All other rights are reserved.

09. Third-party services

The App may rely on third-party services for functions such as hosting, SMS or push notifications, crash reporting, and — if introduced in the future — payment processing. Use of those integrated services may also be subject to the relevant provider's own terms. We are not responsible for the availability or performance of third-party services outside our control.

10. Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including as to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the extent permitted by applicable law. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free, or that fee data entered by an Institution is accurate — Institutions remain responsible for their own records. Eduro Global is not a bank, payment institution, or financial advisor.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Eduro Global will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount, if any, paid by you (or, where applicable, your Institution) to Eduro Global for use of the App in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Eduro Global harmless from claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights, including data protection rights relating to Student or Parent/Guardian information you enter.

13. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the App for any account that violates these Terms, poses a security risk, or where an Institution's subscription ends. An Institution may terminate its use of the App in accordance with its separate agreement with Eduro Global. On termination, we may retain data as described in our Privacy Policy for legal and record-keeping purposes.

14. Minors & students

The App is intended for use by adults — Institution staff and parents/guardians — and is not designed for direct use by children. Student information appears in the App only because it has been entered by an authorised adult for fee-administration purposes. If a future version of the App allows Students to hold their own accounts, we will require verifiable parental consent and update these Terms and our Privacy Policy accordingly.

15. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rules that may apply, the courts at [Insert City], India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the App. Where required by law, we encourage resolving concerns informally by contacting us first at the address in Section 17.

16. Changes & general terms

  • Changes. We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms in the App and update the effective date above; continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
  • Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect.
  • No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
  • Assignment. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets; you may not assign your rights without our consent.
  • Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any separate Institution agreement, make up the entire agreement between you and Eduro Global regarding the App.
